From Chicago & Milwaukee Take I-294 North from Chicago to Milwaukee I-43 North to Green Bay. Hwy 57 East into Sturgeon Bay and stay on it, hugging the East side of the peninsula, to Sister Bay. Hwy 42 to Gills Rock. Please reference the attached map once you are near Gills Rock. Scenic Route Suggestion If you have time and/or prefer a more scenic route, we suggest exiting I-43 at the Manitowoc/Two Rivers exit and taking Hwy 42 through Kewaunee and Algoma into Sturgeon Bay.
